Mother Goose Memories

Memories, they are the special things we want to remember about different times and
people in our lives. They can be from our child hood and adult hood a like.

They can be messages, thoughts, events and many other special things that we have
experienced or collected.
I decided that it would be nice to create a project that could hold just a few special items
photo trinkets etc from my family life.
This project was featured on the graphic 45 blog with many other great
projects and ideas.

The wagon is constructed using medium and heavy weight chip board.

The top embellishment was created using the mother goose banner and flowers packs.
I love embellishments that coordinate perfectly as graphic 45 ones do.

The crates were really fun to make. They are chip board constructions,  inked, then stamped with a wood grain and pressed metal stamp. I used embossing ink for the the stamp then
heat embossed the design.

I plan to make a micro mini album for one of the crates and store some special
items as well.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my crate please comment if you would like to.

Happy paper crafting

Graphic 45 - Petaloo Lanterns

Halloween is fast approaching and there is a plethora of projects that can be created
for this time of year.
Graphic 45 combined with Petaloo for a fabulous creative opportunity. I hope you had the chance
to check out there blogs for some great inspiration, if not then the post
are still there and ready to see.

My project was  pair of lanterns that can accommodate a battery operated tea light.
They were fun to make and I used two different graphic 45 collections.

They were totally constructed from chipboard and this gave me the scope to
create according to my preferred size.

I did a lot of fussy cutting to create openings in the images to allow the light to shine through.

I will let the rest of the photos speak for themselves.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment I love to hear your thoughts.

Cheers

French Country Organiser

This project creation was done with Graphic 45 French country collection.
I incorporated some great Scrapmatts on the front cover. It is a little organiser folder with a note pad to jot down those important events and ideas.
It has pockets to store those important notes and receipts.

Graphic 45 Products I used were:

French Country 12x12 papers : Grandeur, Montage, Bon Appetit
A la carte.

French country 8x8 paper pad
French Country 6x6 patterns and solids
French Country chip board
French Country flowers

The Scrapmatts packs I used on the cover were as follows:

Leaf Spray 08 CB1153
Picket Fences 08 CB2025
Flowers 09 CB1145
Ornate Frames 13 CB4056

Here are some different views for you

The inside of the organiser

Hope this will inspire you next project and Graphic 45 products will feature and Scrapmatts will
be used to create some fabulous embellishments.

Tags 03 CB3007
Stars 03 CB1223 ( new )
Pine Sprig 01 CB1225 ( new )
Asssorted Words CB6097 ( new )
Gears 05 CB 1078

Here are some close ups

Happy crafting

A Pocket of Good Ol Sport

Good Ol Sport is a great masculine collection with wonderful graphic 45
vintage feel. I love the colours and images.
I used it here in this half pocket scrapping page and it was a perfect range for the
photos of my boys.

My favourites colour is the greens in this paper and the way the primary colours are
so well coordinated.
The next couple of photos are some close ups of the individual sections.

There are some great collector card images that make fabulous tags and journalling
spots in the pockets

There are some wonderful images to fussy cut and adhere them with pop dots
for some dimensionality.

The banner segments and stickers that are part of the collection are perfect
for the small layouts that are part of the pocket scrapping style.

cheers
Andrew
